One of the first pieces of Japanese music that I heard was the 君の名は (Your Name) album by RADWIMPS back in 2019, and I fell in love with the tracks なんでもないや (Nandemonaiya) , 夢灯籠 (Yume Tourou) and スパークル (Sparkle) . Post this I came across the movie 聲の形 (Shape of the Voice or Silent Voice), which had an excellent OST by 牛尾憲輔 (Ushio Kensuke). I don't know how many times I have listened to the end credits song 恋をしたのわ (The One I Fell in Love With) . This is pretty much where the love and obsession for Japanese music started. I may provide translations for every title I mention, and I apologize if the translation is wrong as I am not fluent in this language.

This is a list of some of the artists that I really enjoy listening to. Of course, I haven't heard their entire discography, except for Yorushika. Nonetheless, I will be listing out my favorite tracks of everyone.
